Media Relations Committee
The Media Relations Committee was developed to help support local media campaigns by effectively communicating advocacy and awareness of current health insurance issues.
The chief purpose of the committee is to regularly advise the media of OKCAHU programs, legislative issues and health care initiatives by coordinating press releases, media advisories and building relationships with local media personalities.
This is a very exciting and rewarding committee to be involved with, and new members are always welcome to join! As an association we need to proactively get our message out to the community, and a strong media relations committee is an essential tool in helping the OKCAHU recognize that goal.
